Board Meetings: Held every fourth Tuesday of each month at 3:00 pm in the Lassen County Board of Supervisors Chambers located at

RATES EFFECTIVE July 1, 2005


All loads are measured. The rate is $6.75 per cubic yard (at Transfer Stations & Westwood Landfill) and $54 per ton at Bass Hill. Please click here for rates.

Transfer Station Hours:


Bieber: Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Herlong: Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Little Valley: Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Madeline: Sunday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Ravendale: Saturday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Spalding: Sunday and Monday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Stones: Saturday (Memorial Day thru Labor Day) 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Wendel: Saturday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Landfill Hours:

Bass Hill: Open 7 days a week 9:00 am to 3:00 pm - Landfill may close early due to high winds. Please call 252-1273 to verify Landfill is open.

Summer (April - October) operating hours - 8:30am to 3:30pm

Winter (November - March) operating hours - 9:00am to 3:00pm

Westwood: Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

All Lassen County Landfills and Transfer Stations are closed on New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
