Mission
Lassen County Adult Services offers services and support to the aged and/or disabled residents of Lassen County.
Programs
In-Home Supportive Services
In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) is a State, Federal, and County funded program that enables elderly, blind, and/or disabled individuals who qualify, to recieve the aid of a care provider in their home.
Public Authority Provider Registry
The Public Authority Provider Registry is a referral service designed to assist IHSS consumers in finding a provider. The registry maintains a list of providers that have completed an orientation and screening and offers support service to both providers and consumers.
Adult Protective Services
Adult Protective Services is a State funded program that serves elder adults, aged 65 and older, and dependent adults between the ages of 18 and 64 who have physical or mental limitations that restrict their ability to carry out normal activities or to protect their rights. The program provides intervention activities to protect elder and depnedent adults who are suffering from or at rist of abuse and/or neglect.
