The Administration Department is responsible for compilation, preparation, recommendation and presentation to the Board of Supervisors of the County Preliminary and Final Budgets on a yearly basis. The Department provides administrative assistance to the Board of Supervisors. The Department develops and implements the County's Purchasing Program and Policy by providing training, guidance and support to County Departments in their purchasing needs. In addition, the Department oversees the County's Information Services Department in conjunction with the Information Services Manager to include budget development, hardware, software and equipment maintenance standards and development of policies for computer and internet use.
